Our Mission

Our mission is to develop relational Christians who are active disciples of
Jesus Christ. We believe that God has shown us in His Word five purposes for
every person. They are Worship, Discipleship, Evangelism, Fellowship,and
Ministry. In keeping with these five purposes, we also believe the work of our
church is to create a spiritual "Due North" for every home and individual,
allowing them to keep their heart and their family's hearts aligned with the
heart of God. We want to help people find their purpose, passion, and pathways
along life's journey that honors and brings glory to God. As believers in
Christ, we are each given a specific purpose in our journey through life. We are
also given gifts and abilities to fulfill the purpose that God has for each of
us. Our devotion to personal holiness and personal ministry will allow us to
invest our lives into the lives of others. This is an investment that blesses
God's heart and lasts for an eternity.

Our Base

The basis for all our teaching and preaching at Uptown is the 'Word of God'. We
believe you will find the Word taught in a relevant and practical way that
speaks to the needs of you and your family. Typically we are in some type of
message series where God is showing us specific ways to have our hearts match
His. You can also count on hearing what God's Word says about establishing a
personal relationship with Him.
