Summer Crusades
Every year Uptown reaches out to the children of the inner city.
Many children from the neighborhoods come to have a relaxing time of fun, games and yummy snacks.
You will see 'Up-T', our church mascot plus 'Susie Strawberry' and maybe even 'Bob the Banana'!
Pastor Trim and the Church's heart is to tell them they are not second hand citizens, and that there is hope for their future.
When the Devil tears them down God lifts them up and loves them!

'Clothed With Love' is an annual event at Uptown! Every October, we have 20 tables of free clothing ranging from infants, youth, men and women! On top of that everyone receives two bags of groceries with a smile. We serve areas of Grand Rapids where we know we can clothe the most children and feed the hungriest of mouths.
